Amber Mark – Most Men

a soul-stirring hip-hop/r&b performance

I plan on doing a full review of Amber Mark’s first full length album Three Dimensions Deep after it’s released on January 28th, but I couldn’t resist talking about her recently dropped Colors Show performance of “Most Men.” I have always been a fan of the intimate nature of these performances. The listener is placed in a singular colored room with the artist and their craft, with nothing to do but attend and enjoy. What better way to listen to a new track. I highly recommend checking this channel out.

“Most Men” is yet another track overflowing with emotion. Amber talks of giving your heart away to someone just for them to go and break it. It’s a story we’ve all heard time and time again, but she tells it with such grace. Painting the picture of someone who gives away their love too easily and knows the feeling of loneliness but can’t help but go back for more. I can’t leave out that her vocal performance is flawless to say the least. Clean and alluring with a glittery rasp in her higher ranges that sends shivers down your spine.

“Know it all too well, that loneliness. You think that’s all you get, baby. That’s all you get”

Amber’s music oozes confidence and playful soul, touching on love, betrayal, passion, and all of the feelings that come with it. I have been a fan of Amber’s work for a long time and am counting down the days to album release.

Do yourself a favor and get her in your rotation.
